hi guys!

whats the correct way to work when the drawing gets messy? i am not even half way throgh the drawing and have a lot of lines and quotes. sometimes i hide them but if i need one that is hidden then it will reset all lines and then i have to rehide them one after the other..

thanks

I assume these are reference planes in the family.

Why do you have som many?  Not everything needs a reference plane.  I try to keep mine under 8-10 and those are mainly for parametric needs or strong references for dimensioning in the project.

Do you name your reference planes?  If you don't think they are important enough to name, then you don't need them.

To avoid all that visual clutter with reference planes, you could subdivide the family into smaller, nested, families, each of them with its own set of reference planes.
