We are upgrading our office revit systems in Dubai can anyone tell me if these current workstations require any upgrading RAM OS etc for 2012. we have 20 to update and I would like to keep cost as low as possible of course.

HP xw8600 Workstation Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5430 @ 2.66GHz 2.67 GH 4 gigs of Ram

okay how about this what is the min amount of ram for 2012 and is vista or xp suitable

i would get 24 GB minimum

Thank you. I read the specs and they say 32 bit is sufficient. So according to AutoDesk we are fine to run on 32bit or is 64 preferable? Thanks for the link

I would say 64 is highly preferred
