Hi
I can create a curtain system by face with no problem. However every time I change a panel to the standard M-curtain wall Dbl glass panel ( I beleive these are the standard revit double door panel for curtain systems ) the doors appear on their side i.e the long edge of the doors is parallell to the ground. I have tried with the curtain_wall_dbl_glass_714.rfa from the forum but the same thing happens as it did when I tried to create my own panel using the curtain panel template. I cant find any way to rotate the panel or the grid through 90 degrees to bypass the problem.
Any help would be much appreaciated

This has been known to occur on canted curtain wall by face. The solution is to delete the curtain wall and create it by picking lines in stead. This way the top and bottom are clearly defined and should avoid this issue.

Thankyou for your suggestion
the panels are going in to the plane of the curtain system ok but are on there side. I have attached a jpg of a simple example of my problem. The same thing seems to happen wether I put the panels in, in plan elevation or 3d views and regardless of what workplane I have selected.
Mr Spot
Thank you for your advice the panels go in without any problem when I use the line picking method to create the curtain system.
However I do not seem to be able to assign any curtain system type to the resulting ruled panel system or access any of its properties. Therefore I have to select each panel manually and manually place all grid lines. Is this normal ?

This is true. Curtain wall by lines is a lot less friendly for creating and adding parts. Is your curtain wall vertical? It looks as though it is? If so just use the wall-->curtain wall to create it.
I'd also advise sending the file to support so this bug gets fixed quicker. More people who report it the better chance of a fix.
