doing an addition to an exisitng residence and need to demolish part of a roof and wall.
any ideas?

You can split a wall in two direction, vertical and horz. That will take care of the walls. On the roof...I would create the room in two pieces and phase demo the piece you don't want. Not sure if you can split roofs, but give it a shot.

The wall would need to be broken up in the existing phase so it can be demolished in part in the current phase.
This has always annoyed me you really should be able to demolish part of an element without have to create as two separate ones.

I have an existing cmu wall with brick veneer. Is it possible to show just the brick veneer being demolished and the cmu to stay? Using version 9.1.
