Hello,

I am currently working with Revit 2013. I want to move my revit project off of my current computer and on to a new one.

However, when I open my file on the new computer, some of my families and textures go missing. How do I prevent

losing them during the move?

Thanks!

Obviously you don't loose any families  that are in projects.  Families that you have created or altered have to be moved by you - they would not be part of an installation.  This is the same for any added textures.

I read this as an installation.... With Tea's answer - I see it was move project.  The only thing you have to move besides the project is any linked files, key note file and any texture files.

Make sure that you grab everything associated with the project when you make the move.  Make a file location for all of your families and materials so that you know the exact location of everything so that you do not miss anything when you move.

Why are you moving a project from one computer to another?  Do you not have a server where you can make a central file and local files on each computer separate?  Moving a whole project from one computer to another is not ideal.
