Hi,

I posted this some time ago in the Autodesk Discussion Group but didn't get a resolution, and it's come up again, so I thoght I'd post here.

I have a curtain wall assembly that I have embedded within a wall.  The border 1 (bottom) profile acts as a window sill.  When the curtain wall is embedded within the wall it cuts to the extent of the sill profile and not to the point at which the profile cuts the reference plane.

Does anyone have a work around for this, or a solution?  The only way around this would be to have the wall as lower curtain wall panel, but I don't want to do this as it will mess my schedules up i.e. height and width of curtain wall / Window unit.

I look forward to your responses.

Regards,

Kevin

I believe an embedded CW will always cut to the extreme limits of the CW.  I think your best option is: Don't embed and sketch the wall cut.
