Hello there! Please Help!
I created many inplace slanted walls from a mass object and used the wallbyface tool to convert them to revit walls. I am using the wall type Cav10275i140P with soldier Banding. For some reasons my slanted walls internal faces are facing outside and there are no flip icons to flip them to the inside. So on plans my slanted walls do not heal properly with my vertical walls; I have retried the wallbyface tool several times but I always come up with the same problem. I attach images here for clarity. Is there anyway to correct this? The highlighted blue walls are the slanted walls and the others are vertical. In the perspective one can see that the slanted walls are showing the materials for the inner walls on the outside. I also added a coping to the top of the wall as seen in Perspective but it will not show for the slanted walls.
Thanks in advance!

You can flip a wall's facing by selecting it, right clicking, and "change wall's orientation." Doesn't work with multiple walls selected. Before you do this, make sure you have the wall's location line set to "centerline" or center of core--whichever is appropriate.

Hi there. Thanks for the quick reply. However the ChangeWallOrientation tool doesn't appear for this type of wall when I right click; it shows only for the vertical walls. As I said before this wall is inclined; by that I mean the vertical face of the external wall is at a less than 90degrees to the ground. I am just discovering that Revit does not let one apply all its tools to this kind of walls. Any other idea?

I don't typically use this function but it seems that Revit always places the wall with the interior face on the mass side. Perhaps re-defining your wall type would be the answer.

Yes, you're right. Revit doesn't like to use compound walls with such walls. I solve it by creating a new wall with the same material composition properties making sure it is not a compound wall and I assigned it to my inclined walls. It worked! But I have another problem. I cannot create a coping sweep using the wall coping features. I might have to use mass technique to create the coping above it. Thanks for the reply.
