Hello,
I am new to designing and Revit and just had a question about a roof.
If you look at the attached image I have setup a single roof for around the front of the house however on the left side of the house I would like to extend the peak of the roof to the very front to match that of the 2nd story front wall. so that the front of the roof has a dormer type look to it.
Sorry if I am not explaining myself correctly since I am just starting to design.
Thanks

use the "break" tool to put a break in your roof boundary line where you want the ridge of your dormer to fall (against the wall, right?)
Now, draw a manual slope arrow from the corner of the eave to this break point. draw the slope arrow right on top of your boundary lines. Assign this slope arrow a slope--not a slope defined by the head and tail heights, which is default. Hope this makes sense.
