I have drawn a headwall of a hospital cubical which includes many different switches, Connectors for Oxygen, etc, and computer terminals as a family.  I would like to go to the Placement Side Elevation View of that family and put on Labels that WILL show up in the room elevation views where this family is inserted. Is this possible?

I tried putting on plain text and of course, like the dimensions that are there to show height above floor, etc, these labels do not show up. I can find no setting to change text to be visible or viewable in the inserted drawing.

Revit 2012 at this location, have not looked at home, where I have Revit 2013, where things may have changed. I am a contract employee here and cannot upgrade them until they upgrade all the systems at the same time. So If is possible in 2013, I will simply manually put the text in on the inserted drawing elevation views for now until I either get them to upgrade or get an answer on the proper method to use..

Thanks

Doug Dunn

Be aware that labels in families are problems in other views.

You do know that you can use model text in families and set their visibility to specifice views.

Thank you for responding so quickly....  That worked great, once I figured out how to resize the model text....    is there a way to make it solid black, rather than outline text?

Thanks

Doug
