Revit 2012 family file attached:

I have been trying to apply glass as a material to the revit family of furniture. I am missing something eithher very silly or just not there!Please can someone help me understand where am I going the other way? (rvt file attached here)Why am I not able to apply glass as a material to the shelf in the 'Book case with glass shelves' file attached here.Thank you a lot!

This is really simple.  Someone painted all of these elements....very bad!  Use the paint tool and "remove paint" then setting the elements to glass will work.

Thanks , You're been a great help out here.

 

I had downloaded this family from the internet, and , musch as I couldve created a new one myslef, I wanted to know what is it I am missing. I never used that paint tool before! now I know it better. :-)
