I have a "flat" roof that slopes from the center, downward to the exterior walls.  This creates a ridge down the center of the roof.  The walls parallel to the ridge step and so are at varying distances from the ridge, i.e. the bearing point for each section is different.  See attachment.

"Defines Slope" gives me a nice slope but, the ridge isn't along the actual center of bearing.

"Slope Arrow" will only accurately slope one "step" on each side and the ridge still isn't where I need it.

I could break the roof into 3 sections, use Defines Slope and get the right ridge BUT, the roof heights then vary.  Is there a way to set the roof height control to the top of the roof rather than the bottom?

Or, even better, is there a way to control the ridge location with Defines Slope?

I can use points but, the bearing ht is still in flux and I'd prefer something that has a simple adjustment.

Use two slope arrows and use "Height at tail" and not "slope", the head of the arrow is the place where you want your ridge location, use a ref. plane to create the location of your ridge then create the SA to that ref. plane.

Hi,

That worked a bit better but there is still an abnormality in the section.  Please see the attached files.  I can live with it if I have to but of course, I'd rather not have to.  Any suggestions?

Not the section cut shown on the roof plan is the one in the attachment.  I have a section through the longer step and the roof is NOT deformed there.

Thanks.
