I have a new computer for school and revit runs very slow on it. So slow i move the 3D view around and wait 5 minutes for it to work. As it is a school computer I can not ungrade the ram or alter the computer to make it run better so I was wondering if there are any setting in revit I can change to make it run faster. It would be of Great Help.Thanks.

There are no settings but here are some items that will help:
- Turn off shadows
- Use hidden line view
- Limit your views to just what you need.
- Use scope boxes.
- Use worksets - even on stand alone projects. Then you can put interior items on a workset seperate from exterior and turn off interior when only looking at the exterior.
