if i want to download hatch patterns from Revit City, how do i go about it?

where do they go?

but what i'm looking for is once i downloaded a hatch pattern from RevitCity, how do i place in Revit and where do i place it?

i'm new to Revit, from Autocad, and i'm new to the forum environment.

In Revit use Manage>Additional Settings>Fill Patterns to start the import wizard.

Two lists are maintained - one for DRAFTING patterns, the other for MODEL patterns.

MODEL must be explicitly described as such e.g:

*Block 24x36, 24 x36 blocks running bond

;%TYPE=MODEL

0, 0, 0, 0, 24

... etc

Find the file revit.pat (it's a text file) and read its introductory comments for an overview.
