Workplane "viewer" what is it?? The reason i asked is that i just opened it up (being nosey) and saw a ton of walls and curtainwalling that i have drawn and deleted. However it was all recorded on there. Why?

The Workplane Viewer is a great tool. Especially in family creation and editing. It should not show objects you 'deleted' ?? It may show objects yuou have hidden.

How are you using it? It seems like it should be an awesome tool, but I just haven't found anything to do with it. I'm sure I'm just missing something.

Honestly i havent drawn anything hidden! i have literally just hours in to this. And i have found walls that i drew in error anf deleted. However, to note i was using "e" shortcut to delete/erase and this is not the proper Delete command- so this could be my issue. I will confirm in the coming days.

However, what is it for again. could you explain it again. I really didnt understand. I do understand that Families are like Blocks from autocad.
