Hello,

I have a question regarding the relationship between the elements of Revit.

Is it possible to ask a wall what element it is touching? I mean for example when there is a wall and you click it, it says that at the bottom its touching a floor (element id x) and at the top its touching again some floor or maybe some rc beams. Is it possible to code such thing in Revit API?

The reason for such an extension: I want to know the relationship between the building elements without taking some sections.

Or has anyone an easier solution?

I don't remember any API to do this and to be honest I don't think there are any...  And I never seen any question like this too... Confused
