Just wondering if anyone knows if its possible to change these lines in roofs. Sometimes i have to hide the internal boundary lines in a roof in section using the invisible line tool under modify, but it leaves a halfton dash line.

Nuh i dont think so, its more the settings of the boundary lines of the different layers of my roof, do a section of your roof and use the invisible line tool on your roof layers and gray scale lines will appear wich u can only hide with using detail lines or a fill.

Go to Visibility/Graphics (either VV or VG) scroll down to "roofs" and in the farthest right column, there's a dropdown box for "detail level."

Override the detail level for roofs in this view to "coarse".

This will remove all of the layer lines while keeping the outside boundary nice and dark, and will retain the med/fine detail level for all the other elements in that view.
