Is this a sloping column - I assume?  Columns are a cutable category.

This column was made in the structural framing template with a extrution , i had to make it a extrution because of all the parameters it has such as roof slope, wtop width and bottom width.

Could it be that it doesnt cut because it was made in a wrong template?

is it possible to change the catagory? I tried it in the family editor but when i tried to load it into the project it wouldnt make the type.

i would really appriciate a workaround if possible?

thanks for your response WWHub, as always

I'm not sure without looking at the family since i don't do structural and I don't have structural templates.  Is it in the structural COLUMN category?  That category is cuttable.

If you can't get this to cut, some you might consider setting it not to show in plan an adding symbollic lines.
