I am using  paint on my wall instead of designating the material on whole wall itself for me to save time especially for walls on the exterior, but the problem is that if have so many materials and if someone has used another paint material on the other walls, Is there  way for me to know which materials he had used?

thanks and i want to learn more tips and tricks in revit...

Use a material tag in elevation / section to show the material type in question.
