Can anyone tell me why I get this "double line" look on my foundations?

It is currently under the STructural Framing category as it is a grade beam.

Not enough information.  Delete the footing and see what happens.

Thanks for the response.

I'm not sure what other information to give. Ive erased and placed a new Grade Beam in its place and the same graphics appear. i tried placing using pick lines and draw lines. Discipline is set to Structural, VS is set to Hidden Line, detail level is medium.

Its usually happened to me and it is inconsistent. The join seems OK,

I've always just taken it as a revit-ism and overridden it with the linework tool.

It is pretty strange and any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

So you are saying that both lines went away when it was erased?

Yes they did.

I think I found the reason for why this is happening. I think it is simply a graphics issue with my machine. I changed to thin lines and noticed that the lines' appearance was changing as I zoomed in and out. This made me think of printing and looking at it. It printed fine!

If this happens to anyone else. The appearance of the line also shows correctly when I overrode it wiith the linework tool. I created a line type to match that of my foundation and applied it using the linework tool.

Bottom line is it seems as though regardless of what I see on my screen, the printed copy comes out fine.

Thanks
