Hi. In my office we have a project wich has 3 identical towers, with 7 department types each over an L shaped parking lot with exterior amenities.

The project is well organized: We have one master file with all the exterior areas and the parking lot, with three instance-linked-towers that came from another file with one tower and inside this tower file we have the seven departments. So it is like an inseption from a master file with a tower linked and then copied two more times, and inside each tower we have the departments as nested link on the towers.

Also, we have worksets to turn of a single department or multiple department, or any tower or every tower.

The problem is that we dont know why the swiches and outlets within each department wont appear on the master file, where we have our sheets and views, I tried every idea i had to try to solve it without success. I am telling the whole scenario to see if someone on the forums has or had this kind of problem with links and/or worksets.

Any suggestions?

Best Regards

I just found the problem... I have the views on the master file with a filter applied with all the annotations tag comming from links turned off... the outlet and switches symbols on plan are on the "generic annotation" category and It was off...

Why are them on "generic annotations" and not on something like "electric annotations" I don't know, but it was a headache to find a solution for this issue.

Thanks anyway.
