Do any of you out there know if there is a built in way to make a roof model with a boxed in type eave like the one I am showing in the attachment picture? Am I missing something or does this have to be "faked" in with in place families and cut? Thanks

Don't quite understand the question. Do you mean a horizontal soffit from the fascia board back to the wall ? That can be done with a roof > soffit but the end elevation will be capped off with either a custom family or an in-palce family. Out of the box REVIT does not have a tool to cap off the ends to form a pork chop. A sloping dog leg finish can be created with a small pieve of roof with 2 sloping edges.

Looks like you need to set the 'Rafter Cut' and 'Fascia Depth' properties of the roof.

Thats what it was. Thanks for the help!

Just set to plumb cut square with a fascia depth = roof thickness (12" in my case)
