How can I edit a point of a profile and have only straight lines?

See pic bellow:

Select the curve then click on "Add Edge", now select the points to create a straight edge instead of a curve

Oh, is it because you are working in Vasari? I hope that is not an issue Smile

I can't see your video... firewall but it's the same process in Vasari or Revit, Select the curve then click on "Add Edge", now select one point then the other. done.

I know it should work. We have a support contract that is also trying to find out the issue.

Do you know is this process is compatible with all kinds of "forms generators"?

Mine was generated through here: (hope you can see pictures then) and then I used 2 profiles and connect then to create a solid.

Wierd, don't work in mass, only vasari... Whatever... just dissolve the mass and create again with 3 profiles. Done

When I disolv and connect the 3 profiles I get curves again! Sad

We are running revit 2012, can this have been fixed on 2013?

Dissolve then select the bottom and the middle profile and create mass, now select the middle and the top profile and you will have the final mass.

Thanks. Ok, this is going, slow but going...

You deserve to have the file for your help! Feel free to check it out!

Next challenge is:

I tried to use your "Dissolve" tecnique and then offset the profiles. But the profiles are 3D and the offset tool is 2D only Sad

Do you have any ideas on this?

OK I got it.

OFFSETs for mullions and curtain systems are under control!

Now, how can we FILLET all the intersections:

You can't use the Trim tool for that, don't work like that, stretch your mass to the face of your building then select the curtain system and click on "Update to face".

I got the exact same strugle as you when trying to transform a curve to a sharp edge. Our support team could not find a straight forward solutiion either. It looks like a bug.

But further on, how do you manage to stretch all the mass, to a precise offset, all around?

Even the normal offset of the curtain elements does not offset in the right direction! So I cannot use those points as temporary support for the offset. Recalculating the position of all points, (so that all surfaces are flat), will take a whole day. Please tell you you have a plan Smile
