I would like to introduce myself to the Revit community, I am an architect with a private practice located in Evanston IL, (north surburban Chicago), I've decided to switch from Autocad to Revit in '06' and would like to contact other Revit users in the area. As a single practitioner, (residential & commercial) it only takes a few projects to become swamped, particularly in the beginning of the year. Hopefully, there are other architects in the area familiar with Revit, (or a Chicago users group), available to share when schedules/workloads get tight.
As of this posting I'm just beginning Revit training.
Thanks, and hope to hear from the community soon.

Congrats on taking the plunge into Revit! I would definately suggest taking a couple of days to go through the tutorials, there is so much helpful information that you might miss if you don't take the time to browse them.
