It was always really annoying to me that the extension line would default to the width of the view. In some of the instances, the crop region or some other hidden element make the view much bigger than the section or view itself. (I have a noteblock that has 2 different sizes and is notorious for this).
I finally figured out an easy workaround (I'm wondering if everyone else already figured this out :-/ ). Instead of using the extension line in the project, I make the label for the View Title underlined so that it's always just the same length as the text. You don't have much control (any?) over the thickness of the line but it does make the View Titles all look the same without going through the extra step of aligning them where you want them.
Anyway, hopefully someone finds this helpful.
Thanks,

Nice little work around.
Now can you help us figure out how to make a window get justified by the Head instead of the Sill when changing the window size : )

The view title, to be used, is a property of the view itself and it can be edited by right clicking it in the project browser under Anootation Symbols.

Here is a View title that we utilize, Papers shack | Custom paper writing I included an occasion parameter for the expansion line to be parametric, despite the fact that at this moment, it is moving in the wrong bearing, it works in the family editorial manager and once stacked in the venture. I transferred the Revit record so you can look and control it to the style your office employments.
