I need to create a seating bowl for a stadium project.  I would like to use a profile and extrude it along a path to create the bowl.  The issue I have is if and when the bowl profile changes.  I would like to create a perameter with would allow me to change the riser and tread heights and depths all at one time.  I know this sounds like a  stair template, but there isn't such thing in REVIT 2011 (or other that I know of).  DOes anyone have any ideas?

Look into profiles.

I agree with using the profile, but how to set one up with perameter that will controll height changes all at one time.  For instance, if the riser height changes from 7 to 8 inches, I dont want to have to come back into the profile and edit 20 different risers.  I want to be able to do it one time.  Is thit possible to create parameters in the profile like this?

In the profile family could you not just use reference planes and create a length parameter called 'Riser Height' ?

Then align and lock the profile linework to the reference planes ? Make them 'type' parameters and use the different types in the project sweep / extrusion.

. . . . .  My thoughts without actually testing this.
