Now that Revit 2013 is a all in one, a one stop shop, Dose anyone know if you start a project with the Revit Architecture Templet and have created a nice building, and you want to do some duct design or pipe work your self becase you just like to do extra stuff, Are you then going to open a mech template and link or just load all !! those fitting to the Arch temp. I guess my question is how to manage the drawing to differant mep's

I think its a matter of complexity. If its just a simple ceiling exhaust fan with a duct to the exterior wall, or maybe a water heater connected to a sink, I just keep it all in one model. I'll open up an MEP template, then go back into my original model and use "transfer project standards" to get what I need moved over. However, if we're doing a large project with complex systems, we find it safer and easier to manage if we keep everything seperate and link into each other.
