Hi

 

I am trying to create a Tag for the count of my beams on a fabrication drawing..

It doesnt seem to be possible the normal way

does anyone know any workaround?

Tags will not count.  You can get counts from schedules.

Yeah that is what i had figured out!I have already made the schedules with all the counts but i need the numbers on my fabrication drawings.

but do you know if there are any workarounds?.

like making a parameter that somehow makes a number equal to the count of the elements!?

 

This would be something for the Autodesk programmers to work on because i think this could be a popular option if possible

Not sure what you are asking.  You can give elements mark numbers and that can be tagged.  The numbering would be manual unless you can find an add-on to do it.

 

You can always place the schedule on your drawing.

i use macros that copy counts into tags for seating, occupancy loads and factors.
