I am experimenting with Revit schedules for the 1st time and have created a ceiling schedule. I have "Area" and "Cost" columns and would like to create a "Total Cost" column that multiplies my "Area" x "Cost". Can you guide me please?

From element properties choose edit fields than calculated value
enter total cost for name and common for dicspline and number for type
and enter : Area*Cost/(1m^2) for formula.if you use metre as unit

I tried that but I get an error message "inconsistent units".
OK,OK, OK..........I change the (1me^2) to (1 SF) and got imperial units. Where can I find more information about these formula formats for fields?
