We have an Architect using the Bently V8 program and has exported out their models in many different IFC formats buteverytime Revit opens the IFC format something has to be unjoined or deleted and then the models dont appear right.

Is there anything else we can try to get this to work?

They have demolition walls that just wont come through and I downloaded a viewer that shows they are there.

Very frustrating,

Heinzk1

Thanks for the information but I tried the plug-in and it's a one-way conversion.  It only let me save to Bently's product

but not import it back.

Sincerely,

Heinzk1

Do you know if they are using a mapping table when they create the IFC file out of Bentley Architectural\Bentley AECOSIM?  I have found with other applications that I have to match how they are setting up the export map with my import map.  If they are not changing the map table I think from what I remember Bentley Arch will map the pre-made demo wall to the IfcWallStanddardCase.
