Hi all-
We have an issue of losing visibility settings (hide/show worksets) after synchornizing. It seems to upload another user's visibitlity setting, as we are working in the same view. Revit must have a way to not have to re-set these settings after every synchornization... any help would be appreciated! Apologies as this may be a noobie question.
Thanks,
K

Learn to use view templates to control views placed on sheets and make sure you assign them to the view. You can never stop someone from altering VG settings for a view but with view templates, you can be assured that all views are as they should be by applying the default view templates to all sheets prior to printing. A very easy process.
We encourage our users not to work in sheet views when working with model emements. Instead, we have them create a working view, title it as such (add users name) and put it in a working folder.

The settings in V/G are not user specific, they are view specific.
