What are some tips on making colors and patterns look great in Revit Architecture 2013? What are some tips to match manufacturers colors and patterns? Examples exterior stone, brick, siding, roof shingles, etc.

Thanks!

Go to the manufacturers website and copy the image of the material and use that for your material image.

Thanks everyone! If I get an image from a manufacturers website how do you go about scaling it to the proper size or is it done automatically in Revit? Where are the images stored at for Revit to access them?

Thanks again! Have a great holiday weekend!

Read up on the materials manager.  (under the "manage" tab).  There many many existing threads on the subject, and help will give a better explaination of the layout... which in my opinion is confusing.

But yes-- you are able to scale image tile sizes.  There's a lot of control you have over materials apart from that as well.

Thanks for the feedback. I will take a look at the materials manager.
