Hi Guys,

So I'm working on a project with lots and lots of bricks assembled into interesting profiles. This is an existing building. If they didn't win a brick manufacturer's design competition I'd be surprised.

I attached a wall section here along with a photo, an isometric view and a perspective view.

Questions:

1. Ideas for radial brick work

2. Ideas for the brick sill and wall below at an angle

3. Was thinking of making a wall with sweeps for the projecting brick work

5. Better ideas than an imbedded wall with a profile to get the arch modeled

Thanks!

For sloping brick sills, we use an in-place void to cut the sill area, then we add an in-place sweep to create the sill.  You can also add this to the window family if you have a lot of instances.

I never like to use walls with sweeps defined in the wall type because you can't control them phisically or visually.

Array Radial for the arc, create a generic model face based family with instances parameters...

I guess the next thing might be writing an equation to calculate the number of bricks in the arch give the radius and making that part of a family.
