Hi there. I am setting out some steelwork on my plan. The chain dot line that sybolises the beams does not appear to be located on the centre line of the section for PFC's and Angles, I think it is located on the neutral axis of the member. I need to find a way to make the symbolic line appear on the centre line of the member. I have attached a quick note that I wrote with some sketches on to try and explain further.

My thought would be to just move the line in the family, however like you I'm not sure what negative effect it would have on the project.  If you try moving it please let me know what happens, I am going to take a stab at it now.

I just tried it with a C Channel in a project and it didnt appear to have any negative effect, I could change the lateal justification to Side 1, Side 2, and ACTUAL center with no problems along with changing elevations.  If anyone else knows of any problems that could arise I'd like to hear it.
