Wondering is someone can help me or if anyone has had the same problem. We are working on a project which has both existing and new build elements. Where we have new build elements we are using the standard system wall, but in the area of existing we are using in-place wall. When we place a door into a system wall we can extract room information (Name / Number) but when we place a door into an in-place wall we cannot extract this information. Is anyone else having this problem? We are using Revit Architecture 2012.

S .

I can't say that I have ever seen that question.

Why are you using in-place walls rather than walls?  Seems you will be creating lots of problems.

Reason why we are using in place wall is that most of the existing wall are not straight, we created in place wall so they match the survey information we received

Did you add room seperation lines?  If so, then these doors may be in no man's land.

I just tried this and this does seem to be the case.

Sorry - I have no solutions for you.
