Hello there. I'm new to Revit and so far I'm liking it. I have a little experience with Solidwork 3D modeling so I am catching on to Revit OK. I am going through the tutourials on Youtube fore starters. Does anyone have any better suggestions as to where I can go for other trainning?

Youtube is a good site, check out CADclips.com as well as Therevitkid.com. Welcome to Revit!

The best rule of thumb when starting out is that if it seems like there SHOULD be an easier way of doing something, there is. If you're spending hours doing something laborious, there's a different and better tool for the job.
This will hold true until about a year's worth of experience, where you'll start seeing the first limitations of the program.
When you have a suspicion that there might be an easier way to model/draft, phrase your situation in simple terms as a search in revitcity's forums--someone else has had the same question already, so the answers are out there!

I'm a newbie also and i found the vids by UQARCHCAD (on YouTube) to be a good, overall introduction to the program.
