I have heard mainly of 3DS MAX and Artlantis being used but now for 2012 there is an add-on to use the Cloud.

Do you have a Revit subscription?

Cloud Units

Cloud units are required to use the following services:

Autodesk® 360 ServiceCloud Units RequiredRendering 5 per Rendered Image Optimization for Inventor 5 per Optimization Run Structural Analysis for Revit 3 per Analysis Run

The number of cloud units you receive depends on the product or suite you subscribe to.

Subscription toCloud Units Per Subscription User**Standalone Product or Standard Suite 100 Premium Suite 250 Ultimate Suite 500

**Users should monitor their use of cloud services and should not exceed cloud unit allotments. Users can monitor their usage under “Account Settings” after signing in to Autodesk 360.
