I received a dwg background file from a realtor and when I open the file I get multiple warnings about educational plot stamps.

Obviously I need to access the content of this file and maybe even reference it or work from it.

Is there any way to expunge the stamp on my work?

Thanks!

Did yoi read the line starting with: "IF YOU CONTINUE...."  I think this warning is vary obvious.

Whoever created this work is working illegally.  BTW - AutoDESK gives rewards for turning in these people.

Hi WWWHub,

Thanks for your reply.

You're right.

I figured as much....

I have legal copies of all of my applications and it irks me when others don't

Still don't like the idea of turning someone in - doesn't make friends of strangers - but I guess they're thieves at any rate.

I guess when you buy the software, you're buying it for others too who won't pay for a legal copy..

If you want to be a "friend" to these folks, I suggest you send them a copy of this image and inform them that legally, you can't use their work.  If you do use it, then you TOO will be subject to the legal prosecution by AutoDESK and that you can't risk that.

Message received loud and clear.

Thank you for the heads up on legal exposure.
