What is a typical time it would take to render a large project with Revit Architectural 2013? I am working on a large residential project with many finishes, angles, and roof lines. I started a rendering of the exterior (sun only) at best quality on Friday and let my computer render all weekend. Monday when I got to the office the rendering was at 53% (2 days 17 hours).
My other renderings complete in a much shorter amounts of time, I am wondering if this one is very slow due to the complexity and size of the project.
Thanks!

It really depends on the size and what you have in your project. There are a number of things that could slow you down but it could take that long and in some cases a week to render a view. If you have done worksets you should turn off the ones that you will not see in your renderings and that would help with the speed a bit. Also there is very little difference between High and Best rendering settings but the time difference is huge so I would just go with High.

Thank you for the quick reply and the rendering tips. I have a second computer that I am using, I just wanted to see if it can take days for a rendering to complete.
Thanks again!
