I am trying to edit the roof in the attached file so that there is a dormer over the window on the right the same as the one on the left. I have designed it the same as the other one but keep getting the following error message:
Can't keep wall and target joined
When I click on show it highlights the rear wall of the building which in no way is connected to this part of the building at all.
Any help appreciated

click "ok" when that message apears, if the roof shows up and it looks the way you want it too "winner" I have had that message show up 10,000 times i'll bet. i generally ingnore it if the roof shows up and if there is something that has changed ie. a wall has disjoined from the roof i'll fix it when i see it. usually in 3d view is where i find most of the cosemetic errors.
