I'm new to revit architecture, currently working with 2013 on a hospital outpatient building.
Can anybody help me out on how to keep a nested family, say a lightpost inside a baluster, from loosing it's material properties, or from loosing the lighting capability.
I'd like to make a nightime render, so.....
thanks everyone

You have not given us enough information to help you. What do you have and what is happening that you don't want.

The thing is: i nested a light post family inside a baluster family, but i don't know how to make so when loaded in the project (after making a railing) it still shows the original materials.
I don't know what is needed for this to happen, n can't think of other ways to say it. Hope u can imagine in which situation I'm in.
thanks a lot
