Hi all,

I have a problem with my lay-in ceiling, everytime I try to edit its boundary the ceiling banishes and the boundary appears on the  second level, this is a problem since areas of my first floor do not align with my second floor (different foot prints). thus the boundary floats in spaces with no walls. Is there a setting am I missing?

I am curreently using Revit 2012

thanks

Check your ceiling host level.

Even if the ceiling is hosted on a lower level, you should still be able to edit it from any plan.

Thanks for your replying to my post

The host level is the first level flooor and the ceiling is set aT 9' above it.

We also checked on the vicibility graphics, thinking that VG had to do with it, but it didn't solve anything.

I will check on the host level, but I am sure it is set correctly, it is just puzzling cus we have a few projects going and this is the only one with this problem. I should add that the same thing happens while trying to eddit soffits

You say you checked VG.  Are all lines on in VG for the plan in question?
