I have imported my titleblock from a cad file and i want to edit the family in revit arch 2011. The problem is that when I explode, full or partial, I lose my text. Any idea where my text is going?

What was your text in the CAD file? A block with attributes? An image file? What?

It was created in a program called general cad. But I think it's just regular model space text lines. In your experience what are some common causes of text disappearing?

it seems to be what revit calls "project specific text" though for that program, because the info stays the same. It's a really generic cad program that it came from.
