I am working in Revit MEP 2012 and I found a cool function, but I don't know how to use it. I grabbed a lighting fixture and hover it over a space. Automatically it lays out the lights in a light blue shade. How do I kepp these lights or lay them out automatically?

I'm not sure I understand the question. You are just trying to place a light? You need to place a light in the ceiling of your model.
