Is it possible to create reveals in a flat roof?

I am using reveals to indicate cladding panels on my building; I had read somewhere that reveals were better than model lines for this. But I'm not sure what to do about the roof.

You can use void sweeps anywhere.  Wall reveals work like void, wall hosted sweeps but withoud having to define paths.
