I am migrating from Autocad 2006 to revit. One of the advantages for me is that in revit you don't have to infinitely trim /strech wall lines when you move ,say,a door. But I have a question about windows.I need to be able to modify the window width(and maybe height) directly in plan or 3d(without opening the properties).Like modifying the wall length, you grab it from one end and....Is it posible to create a family of windows(doors) that have this degree of parametrization? I could not find the answer in revit's help. Thank you

Yes, if the parameters for width and height of the window are set to "instance" parameters, the windows will become stretchable in any view in Revit. But be aware that this could cause dimensions down to fractions of an inch, and all your windows will be completly separate instances and will schedule individually. Best to leave the parameters of the windows set to Type parameters, and just make new types from within your project set to real dimensions.
