Clearly.. the moderator is interested more in arguing and proving that he is correct rather than actually trying to solve the real issue... so this issue is being removed from the forum.

^ Sadly this user removed his original question and has edited all of his other posts.  That's too bad because it is not contributing to the forum.  If he indeed had found a problem with the system, that would be good for all of us to know.  It looks like maybe it was his process though so he doesn't want to expose that.

Sorry but I am having a hard time following what you are doing.

If all of your floors have the same slope and the same relationship to their levels, then just copy the floor and paste aligned to selected levels and you are done.

You are not doing what I said to do.  Copy the floor to clipboard and paste to selected levels.  I've not been doing this all these years for nothing....

In your HELP read this topic:  Pasting Aligned Elements

  1. Cut or copy elements to the clipboard.

See Moving Elements with Cut-and-Paste or Copying Elements to the Clipboard.

  2. Click Modify tab Clipboard panel Paste drop-down, and select one of the following options:
    • Aligned to Selected Levels: If you copy all model elements, you can paste them into one or more levels. In the dialog that displays, choose the levels by name. To select more than one, press Ctrl while selecting the names.
    • Aligned to Selected Views: If you copy view-specific elements (such as dimensions) or model and view-specific elements, you can paste them into similar types of views.
    • Aligned to Current View: Pastes the elements to the current view. For example, you can paste elements from a plan view to a callout view. The view must be different from the view where the elements were cut or copied.
    • Aligned to Same Place: Pastes the elements into the same place from where you cut or copied them. This is useful for pasting elements between worksets or design options. Also, you can use it to paste between 2 files that have shared coordinates.
    • Aligned to Picked Level: Pastes the elements in an elevation view. You must be in an elevation view to use this tool, because it requires that you select a level line on which to paste the elements.

    • NoteDo not pick levels using the Project Browser.

not interested in this anymore. I would delete this completely if I had the power to do so. I'll find the answers that I need elsewhere.

Let me try to phrase this more simply:

I did what you said long ago...

Maybe it was a corrupt file...

Maybe it's a software glitch...

You didn't bring those items up.

You only repeatedly insisted that I wasn't doing what you told me to do.

It is SUPPOSED to do that... and I agree that with a flat floor slab it does.

My process still works even with a slope arrow.

I'll just take this issue elsewhere and think twice before seeking answers or offering solutions here in the future. Help like this I can live without.

Nothing condescending about it.  I showed you that the process works so that you can determine that it is either your process error or possibly acorruption error.  Either way, I can not determine.

Sorry if you take offense when someone takes the time to show you how it does work.
