Hi

Iv just chased up a planning application i submitted about 5 weeks ago after the homeowner was on my case.

I was told by the council That they emailed me the day after the application was submitted that the drawing is not printing to scale. They are printing A1 but cuming alot smaller scale.

What have i done wrong should i have drawn to A1 page or should i have save it at A1 scale?. The council also said to put in a scale ruler.

So How can i change the scale of the existing drawing in A1 to submit and also input a scale.

Apreciate urgent help due to the customer on my case and hate to tell him this that after 5 weeks its going to take another 5 weeks

You should never print to fit.  Your view should be set to a scale and the view title should give the scale ... the sheet should be A1 size - and then you print 100%.

This is fundamental stuff and you should know it before you ever do anything under contract.

This is not CAD.  You draw everything full size and your view scale is what determines how it would print.  The view scale is shown in the lower left corner of the view window.  You set this to the appropriate view scale to be placed on your full size sheet.
