Hi there,

I'm trying to recreate this curtain wall in Revit (I've included a screen grab of a SketchUp model). The first query is relating to Attach Top/Base. My flat roof has a slight fall, so I haven't made a level that can act as a Top Constraint for the curtain wall - I hoped I might be able to Attach Top/Base. But when I do, there seems to be an outline of the original size left over. See the example I have included: I originally made the wall 1m high, then used Attach Top/Base - but as you can see, a 1m high outline remains. Perhaps this isn't a problem; it just seemed strange.

The second query I have relates to the grid of the curtain wall. I've tried it using both standard Curtain Wall and Exterior Glazing. I've attempted to add divisions to the glazing, and then to Equalise using the Aligned Dimension tool. But I keep getting an error relating to constraints (see attached picture). I've tried "Remove Constraints" but it doesn't seem to do anything.

I hope you can help. If you need any more info, I'll respond as quickly as I can.

Thanks in advance.

You are using "Exterior Glazing" instead a "Curtain Wall", you will need to UNPIN those curtain grids

Thanks very much, Typhoon. I'm just a beginner & really appreciate any guidance I can get.
