I am trying to creat a new view set in the project browser in addition to the ones already there (floor plans, clg plan, elevations, 3d views etc.)  I am having a fair amount of difficulty doing this. Iwould like to have a new view for electric plans.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Pretty simple fix. I am not sure if it is exactly what you want though because Revit might not allow you to add your own.

You will need to change your browser configuration type to By Discipline. Then change the plan you wish to be in electrical to electrical via the view properties under discipline. 

This should separate your sheets by discipline.

You can add addition parameters to views and use those to sort your browser.  Read some of the similar threads below or do a search of the forums.  Sort should be a good search word.
