(See attached)

I have a nurse's station with millwork on three sides. I have already placed an interior elevation tag which automatically created the elevation views. Since two of the opposing views are the same 'Opp. Hand' views they should actually both reference one drawing view and have a reference label, but I cannot figure out how to make them both reference the same view.

The only solution I could come up with was to hide the original elevation tag (which created the elevation views), and start a new interior elevation tag and check the 'reference other view' option. However, it appears that all four directions are 'reference other view' type and therefore I need to do all four directions this way. I can't delete the original because it deletes all my view sheets... so i've just had to hide it.

Is there a better way to do this that I overlooked? Thanks in advance.

Use the reference other view option.  This will be indepedent of your original elevation callout - not the checkbox.  Then since they will both have the same sheet number, just drag this over and drop on your other callout.

Ok I follow you, no need to re-reference all the other views, just the Opp Hand one and hide its sheet reference then slide it over the original. That makes sense. Thanks for the reply.

No need to hide the sheet number because it will be the same ....
